YOUR CHALLENGE

You are an integral part of delivering the right mix to our customers. As a Lab Technician, your responsibilities involve color matching, formula adjustment, and quality assurance. You will:

  • Interpret and synthesize data collected from the formulas;
  • Prepare coating samples and testing of paint properties;
  • Operate laboratory testing equipment;
  • Test and adjust formulas to ensure quality control standards and client requirements;
  • Communicate discrepancies to Technical Team, Laboratory Manager, or Chemists.
  • Be accountable for working safely and for maintaining a respectful workplace;
  • Collaborate with other departments (i.e. Production, Logistics, Research & Development, and Manufacturing) throughout the entire process in order to meet and even exceed customer expectations.

YOUR EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) with an emphasis in mathematics and science;
  • Able to utilize the software for data collection, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • English language mastery (spoken and written);
  • Possess above-average visual acuity to detect and distinguish fine detail, full-spectrum color perception, adequate depth perception with the ability to adjust focus;
  • Willing to cooperate, share responsibilities, and take direction and advice within the team and production operations;
  • Able to plan and organize multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
